Meet Dr. Burke
Dr. Burke brings to his practice a deep conviction to the highest standard of care for each and every patient he sees. His thoroughness and attentiveness to the concerns and needs of his patients, along with the rare ability to really listen, sets him apart in his field.
Dr. Burke provides comprehensive reproductive endocrinology and infertility care and treatment, routine gynecology, PMDD treatment, and woman’s health care throughout their lives.
About
As cum laude graduate of LaSalle College and an honors graduate from the Hahnemann Medical College (now the Drexel College of Medicine), Dr Burke was awarded the prize for outstanding achievement in OB/GYN for his graduating class.
He performed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital during which time he was inducted into the AOA honors fraternity.
While at Jefferson, he received the Alpha Omega Alpha House Staff Teaching Award recognizing him as the outstanding resident teacher of medical students at Jefferson and all of its affiliates for all of the residency programs in 1983.
Dr. Burke followed with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Jefferson where he was awarded the department research prize in 1985.
In addition to his extensive medical training, Dr. Burke is a 2008 graduate of the Rutgers-Camden School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Burke has been in private practice since 1985, dedicating his practice to advanced non-IVF infertility care, reproductive endocrinology, and general gynecology. He has delivered numerous medical lectures and surgical tutorials in the tri-state area.
Dr Burke is a former president of the Philadelphia Area Reproductive Endocrinology Society, has served as president of the New Jersey Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, and continues to serve on their governing counsel. Dr. Burke also serves as the president of the South Jersey Catholic Medical Association guild and served two decades as the medical director of the Options for Women Pregnancy Care Center.
