Bio

Dr. Burke is a cum laude graduate of LaSalle College and an honors graduate from the Hahnemann Medical College (now the Drexel College of Medicine), where he was awarded the prize for outstanding achievement in OB/GYN for his graduating class.

He performed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital during which time he was inducted into the AOA honors fraternity. While at Jefferson, he received an award recognizing him as the outstanding resident teacher of medical students at Jefferson and all of its affiliates for all of the residency programs in 1983. Dr. Burke followed with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Jefferson where he was awarded the department research prize in 1985.

In addition to his extensive medical training, Dr. Burke is a 2008 graduate of the Rutgers-Camden School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Burke has been in private practice since 1985, dedicating his practice to non-IVF, advanced reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and general gynecology. He has delivered numerous medical lectures and surgical tutorials in the tri-state area.

He is currently the president of the Philadelphia Area Reproductive Endocrinology Society, has served as president of the New Jersey Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, and continues to serve on the governing counsel. Dr. Burke also serves on the council of the New Jersey Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Medical Director for the Options for Women Pregnancy Care Center.
